Jeff G.W. Kemp

Overview

Jeff G.W. Kemp brings a wealth of trial experience to the practice of law. An aggressive litigator, he knows that preparation is key as a matter moves toward the trial stage. He has extensive trial experience in family law, divorce, personal injury, civil litigation and criminal defense. Licensed to practice in state and federal courts, Mr. Kemp is admitted to the bar in Texas and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. He currently belongs to several legal professional associations, including the Montgomery County Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas and the College of the State Bar of Texas. After earning an undergraduate degree in English from Brigham Young University, Mr. Kemp attended Tulane Law School where he earned his Juris Doctor degree in 1990. While in school, Mr. Kemp twice served in a prestigious internship at the Public Defender's Office in Washington, D.C. Upon graduation, Mr. Kemp joined the family practice and continued to excel in the juvenile law and criminal law arena. From 1994 to 1995, he was elected President of the Galveston Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.
